Haverstraw Bay Park is located right on the Hudson riverfront. There
are a large amount of picnic tables, covered and uncovered, throughout the park, along with a pavillion, for picnicking.
The park also has a large playground, complete with a smaller section just for toddlers. There are also walking trails, a
boat launch, and 3 fishing piers.
Besides being Rockland's first waterfront park, Haverstraw Bay Park is also set apart
by the fact that it includes Rockland County's September 11th memorial. The memorial features a 20-foot beam from the
second tower of the World Trade Center.
